Trip of a Lifetime

So...Coulton Main and I got married, and what an amazing and dreamy wedding it was. I wish I could post pictures from that unbelievable day, but I have not yet received the pictures from my photographer yet...so...I will share with you our honeymoon extravaganza :)

As Coulton and I were trying to decide what we wanted to do for our honeymoon, and how we could work around Coulton's work schedule and school schedule, we came upon this plan. ROADTRIP!!! At first, I was a little hesitant at the thought of being in a truck for a week straight, but then as I thought about it more, I was totally onboard with the idea. We would travel across country and visit some really cool places along the way. And who better to do it with than your best friend/eternal companion?

So here we are, the Mains, traveling across the United States to our home in Florida. We packed up all our/my things in a 16' moving truck and hit the road!!

Day one!! Just got our camera and stoked to start on our adventure!

First day we went to Vegas simply because Coult has never been. All we did was walk the strip and eat haha.

Nevada is ugly, but Boulder City was a cute little town. We stopped at this Native American shop. It was neat. We didn't buy anything. Got back in the truck! :)

Took a helicopter ride over the Hoover Dam. That was so much fun! Highlight of the trip for sure!

This, my friends, is the Grand Canyon. I was blown away at how Beautiful it was! It was truly breathtaking. We said we wanted to go back and camp sometime. Who wants to come?!

All the pictures in New Mexico are desert and flatness. New Mexico sucks, but hey, we drove through it! ...so boring...

Thought the truck was going to blow over as we were passing through the corner of texas. IT WAS SO WINDY!

Would never want to live in the state of Kansas. The weather progressively got worse and I was sincerely scared for my life in our truck, but we beat the snow storm literally by hours. Made it to Missouri safely...thank goodness.

Here we are at the Mississippi River. Amazing to think the pioneers had to cross this. Freakin huge.

Coulton could not get enough of Nauvoo. He loved the history of the church there and learning about all the things the Saints did to spread the Gospel and build a city from the ground up. Coulton is amazing. We both want to go back to Nauvoo when the weather is warm and dry :)

We headed over to Carthage jail to see where Joseph Smith was last before he died. Pretty cool to be able to experience all of this with a new member of the church. Coulton's testimony shines as he learns more. He's amazing.

I LOVED TENNESSEE! Probably one of the prettiest places I've been. I could totally live here. The small quaint towns, the hills and valleys, waterfalls, so cool!!

Back in Florida and what better place to end on than Busch Gardens!? So much fun riding rollercoasters with this genius. We'll do it again for sure :)

All in all, I would say our roadtrip was a success. I hope we will be able to come back the same way sometime in the near future!! ;)

...blessed...

So, as you can see, I have not posted in a very long time. So much has happened since my last post. Where in the heck do I start?

I met a guy... His name is Coulton Main... He's going to be my husband... I am so blessed.

He wasn't a member... He got baptized... His spirit makes me want to be better... I am so blessed.

I moved to Florida... I work at the most amazing place (Food & Thought)... Made really good friends...I am so blessed.

Coulton and I got engaged over Christmas... He totally surprised me... I cried, and said yes... I am so blessed.

We decided April 27 would be the perfect date... We got an apartment together... I'm so excited... Couldn't be more blessed.

Everyday I feel blessed. Life is good. Heavenly Father sure does know what he is doing.

That is my life at the moment in a nutshell! I'm so happy.

Angie

Pray, he is there. Speak, he is list'ning.
You are his child; His love now surrounds you.
He hears your prayer; He loves the children.
Of such is the kingdom, the kingdom of heav'n

Angie, we are all here for you and praying for you. We love you more than words can express. I know you'll come out of this tough trial on top. Heavenly Father is watching over you and your family. Keep it up trooper.

Sisters

It's been a while since I have posted, and I thought I would make this post about the two people I look up to most in my life, my sisters. Rachel and Farrah. It's amazing to me how close I have come to these two in the past few years. I feel like since there is such a huge gap between them and I that we shouldn't be remotely as close as we are, but we are, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Any given day I can call up my sisters and feel uplifted and loved. There is no greater feeling than to know that feeling that way is only a phone call away. They listen when they need to listen, and give such great advice when needed. We have so much fun when we are together, and that can never get old. I can honestly say that when I am laughing my very hardest, only comes when I am with my sisters.

The reasoning behind all of this sister business is because of the epiphany I had today, which was that I am going to have these two amazing women a.k.a. my best friends, in my life for ETERNITY. Not just while I'm here on earth, but for eons and eons. I am so grateful for that knowledge.

Thanks Rach and Farrah for always being there for me and truly loving me. You have no idea how much you mean to me, and how just a simple phone call means to me. I hope someday you could possibly look up to your lil sis and say the same :) You have showed me what being a true friend means, and what showing true love entails. I hope you know that I would do anything for you, and I sure as heck know you would do anything for me. I hope someday I can be half the women you are. You're amazing mothers, wives, and daughters of God. Your goodness radiates. Thanks for being you and ultimately being there for me, ALWAYS.

Love you guys.

Love, Borris.

Watch This!

Danika and I made a music video last week due to boredom. Here is a clip that makes me laugh really hard. Listen closely, you can hear Danika whispering the words and I contained myself for a lil bit, but then I couldn't any longer, and bust up laughing. Hope you enjoy as much as I did! :)

GATOR LAND!

So...not too long ago I had the privilege of visiting my big sis in Florida with a good friend/sis from childhood. It. Was. AMAZING!!! I had so much fun every single day. Even just chilling at the house with my beautiful nephews was so much fun. I miss those boys so much! They are growing up WAY TOO FAST!!! They need to pause at their life right now because they are so much fun :).

Anyway, we didn't do anything super spectacular while there, but we did do some things that will be permanently etched into my brain.

First off, when we arrived to Florida, a stream of tears rolled down my face as I looked at my nephews after a couple months withdrawal from them. I thought I was gonna be too excited to cry, but all of the excitement brought tears to my eyes (Strange how that happens). That same day we went and ate then went to some sort of "cabellas" they have there (Lennon wanted to see the fish). We payed that testosterone filled place a visit, then headed home. Heather and I were so exhausted from the redeye flight, we crashed as soon as we hit the pillow.

Finally reunited :)
All of the days kind of rolled into one, but one of the days we went to Sanibel Island. This day, I probably laughed harder than I have in a long time. I almost peed my pants...literally...I was doing the crotch hold/cross your legs maneuver. We rode bikes a few miles to the beach, then just CHILLED. It was so much fun. The sunshine was a blessing from heaven. I miss getting some Vitamin D every day....it was much needed.

seriously so funny
ahhh, love the beach :)
One of the last days, we went to the outlet stores. That was neat. I got some exercise clothes :) I could spend so much money in the Nike outlet. They have the BEST STUFF! While there, we watched some ski thing (I'll post a pic) I thought that was pretty entertaining. Lennon loved it too.

so tired from all the shopping
sleepy head...speaking of head...look at how HUGE his is!
just like his mommy :)
The last day we were there, we just went to the beach and I was a lobster by the time we left. Didn't think I needed sunscreen, but apparently I did. The weather couldn't have been better. I was thinking it was going to be scorching hot because of the last visit I had, but it was dreamy.

Overall, the trip was awesome and I had a blast. Thanks Rach for letting us visit and take over your living room. Can't wait to see you!!

P.S. Isn't he the cutest thing you've ever seen? Dang it, he's too cute.
